OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY AT THE STAPLES CENTER!
Dear Foothill Hoops Families,
Our next special event is just around the corner; our Foothill Hoops Sparks Night! We are inviting our entire league and camp, as well as family and friends, to a Los Angeles Sparks Basketball Game! In addition to the game, we have reserved the Staples Center court for two hours (3:30-5:30) exclusively for Foothill Hoops players! For security reasons, Staples requires everyone to arrive at the same time (3:00). The schedule for the afternoon and evening looks like this:
3:00 arrival at the STAPLES CENTER (everyone)
3:30 – 3:50 Jr. High Boys exhibition game
3:50 – 4:10 Jr. High Girls’ exhibition game
4:10 – 4:35 Rookies, Dribblers, ages 6-8 Girls, ages 6-9 Boys Shoot-Around
4:35 – 4:55 Girls ages 9-11 exhibition game
4:55 – 5:15 Boys 10-11 exhibition game
5:15 – 5:30 League (all players) “Knock-Out” and Pictures
5:30 – 7:30 Dinner around Staples
7:30 Tip-Off: Los Angeles Sparks vs. the Sacramento Monarchs
Bring your basketballs and cameras for the exhibition games and shoot-around times!
Players, you must wear your 2009 Foothill Hoops uniform or camp t-shirt and have a Sparks Ticket to play on the court. Also, all Foothill Hoops players are invited to sit on the Staples Center floor and watch the action for the times they are not scheduled.
Tickets for the event are $20 per person, which include the court time and outstanding seats for the Sparks game! Buy your tickets now at the staff table at the Rosemont Gym, or online (foothillhoops.org). Seating is limited, so buy your tickets now!
